Harold Abbott Amspoker

March 28, 1926 - June 27, 2017

Harold Abbott Amspoker, age 91, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio. Harold was born on March 28, 1926 in Urbana, Ohio to the late William and Marguerite (White) Amspoker.

Harold attended The Ohio State University.

During his career, he worked as an accountant at the Franklin County Courthouse.

Harold was an avid reader and a member of the OSU Alumni Band. He also volunteered at Riverside Methodist Hospital and the Ohio Historical Society.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Esther M. (Leifeit) Amspoker. He will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Inurnment will be at Union Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Ohio State University Alumni Band, 1480 West Lane Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43221.

Harold was a member of the marching band in 1944 and 1945. He played bass drum.
