Scott Christopher Blazek

Scott Christopher Blazek, age 40, formerly of Upper Arlington, died suddenly September 15, 2010 in Sunrise, Florida. He was born on May 7, 1970 in Upper Arlington.

Survived by wife, Natalie Strouse Blazek; father, James V. Blazek, M.D. and three brothers, Jay N., David R. (Alisa) and Mark D. (Jill) Blazek and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by mother Yvonne M. Blazek and stepmother Anita Smetters Blazek.

Scott was a graduate of Upper Arlington High School Class of 1988 and The Ohio State University, 1993 where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and the O.S.U. Marching Band.

Friends may call 1-3 and 5-7 pm Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, 2300 Lytham Road, where A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 pm Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scott C. Blazek Memorial Fund at Huntington National Bank, c/o Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221, in his memory.

Scott was a member of the marching band in 1988 and played snare drum.
