William Donald Davis

December 31, 1925 - August 5, 2006

William D. Davis, 80, of Steubenville, Ohio, died on Saturday, August 5, 2006. Bill was a retired Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel employee. He was a Navy Veteran who served in World War II and the Korean War. Bill played bass drum in the OSUMB in 1944. He said a true thrill of his life was marching with a bass drum across the field in the Alumni Band in Tempe, Arizona during the National Championship in January of 2003. He is survived by his wife Maelee, two children and two grandchildren.

Bill was a member of the Marching Band in 1944. He played Bass drum.
