Norman James Geist

July 30, 1940 - August 16, 2023

Norman J. Geist, age 83, of Richland Township, Pennsylvania, died in his home Wednesday of natural causes.

Norman was an Alumni Marching Band member for The Ohio State University. He was also the Organist for Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, Hilltown, Pennsylvania, as well as many other churches prior to his current position at St Peter's.

Norman was a loving father, devoted husband, and dedicated friend to all who knew him.

Preceded in death by his daughter Sonya, he is survived by his beloved wife Ethel, son Dana, daughter Lavonne, Grandsons Jeremy, Alexander, and Eric, Granddaughters Adriel, McKenzie, and Elaine, and 2 Great Grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 24th, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1530 Augsburg Drive, Hilltown, PA 18927. The Reverend Ray Miller, Pastor, will preside and preach. Memorials contributions may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1530 Augsburg Drive, Hilltown, PA 18927.

Norm was a member of the marching band in 1958 and 1959. He played Alto Horn.
