Gary Thomas Gerlach

April 24, 1940 - April 16, 2012

Gary T. Gerlach, age 71, passed away Monday morning, April 16, 2012 at Aultman Hospital. He was born April 24, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Rudi and Martha (Kinzig) Gerlach. Gary will be remembered as an avid cyclist who enjoyed his dogs and loved music. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Diane in 1994.

He is survived by his sons, Eric Gerlach and Brian Gerlach; and special friend, Janice Giovanini.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 12 p.m. in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Friends may call Saturday, one hour before services (11 a.m.-12 p.m.) at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Humane Society, 5100 Peach St., Louisville, OH 44641.

Gary was a member of the marching band in 1958 and 1959. He played baritone and tenor horn.
