David Alan Lipp

September 10, 1943 - April 19, 2016

David A. Lipp, 72, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2016.

He was a graduate of The Ohio State University and a devoted member of the OSU Marching Band and Alumni Band.

David was a professor at Southern Illinois University and East Tennessee State University before going on to co-found Market Horizons, a consulting firm in Jacksonville, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his former wife Carol, and his beloved companion Barbara Larkins. David is survived by a brother, Douglas (Elizabeth) Lipp, sister, Ann (Caleb) Sickles, daughter, Emily (Chris) Wilson; two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no funeral service but a celebration of his life at a later date.

David was a marching band member in 1961 and 1962 and played efer.
