Robert Henry Noble
July 1, 1937 - October 20, 2022
Robert H. Noble, age 85, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022. He was born on July 1, 1937 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late James and Mary Louise (Pfenning) Noble.
Bob graduated from The Ohio State University in June 1959 where he had the opportunity to continue with music both in the Marching Band and Concert Bands. Bob dotted the i in script Ohio!
Bob spent 15 years as a CPA with a national public accounting firm. For the next twenty one years he served as Vice President Finance and Administration for the Midwest Region of the largest paper distribution company in the world. Since retiring in 1997, for the first time, Bob worked for Schoedinger Funeral Home and United Methodist Children’s Home. When not working, Bob spent time with his children and their activities doing things such as officiating swimming and diving meets at the local and state level, coaching soccer as an assistant at their high school and with the first girls 18 and under select team in Central Ohio. Bob kept busy with community activities such as being a Board member and Chairman of the Franklin County Program for the Mentally Retarded and Developmentally Disabled and served for 23 years as the Director of Upper Arlington youth baseball program.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Tarita Noble; sons, Doug and Brian Noble; grandson, Kyle Noble; and brothers, John and James Noble.
Bob will be greatly missed by his children, Richard (Donna) Noble, Chris (Sara) Noble and Sherri (Russ) Bennage; grandchildren, Kelsey, LaTayisha, Lazionte, Kole, Amanda, Melissa, Brianna, Matthew, Theresa, William, Joshua, Tabitha and Lauren; sister, Mardi Taylor; great grandchildren, Evelynn and Austin; and daughter-in-laws, Susan Cunningham and Kachina Noble; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Schoedinger Northwest, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221, where family will receive friends from 3 PM until time of service at 4 PM.

Bob was a member of the marching band from 1955 through 1958. He played Sousaphone in K-Row.
