Richard Louis Pelleriti

Richard (Dick) passed away peacefully at his home on May 31. Dick was born in Lakewood, Ohio in 1936. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 1958 where he was a proud member of the OSU Marching Band, the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity, and where he met his wife of nearly 65 years, Barbara Dawson.

Dick enjoyed three careers. He worked with Cleveland Trust Bank then NCR in Dayton Ohio and New York City. A family business, RAM Products, brought he and Barb back to Columbus where their love story began 68 years ago.

He will be missed by his cherished family: wife Barbara; children John (Anne), Susan (Ron) Fielding and Rick (Lara); six grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends. Dick was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Rudy and Jean.

There will be a celebration of his life Sunday, June 11, 2 pm at Ohio Living/Heritage Pointe, 655 Neil Ave, Columbus Ohio.

Richard was a member of the marching band from 1954 through 1957. He played Trumpet in A-Row and T-Row and Efer in A-Row.
